Articulation is how we say our sounds (or phonemes) in words. Many children have articulation errors when they are learning to speak and even into their school ages. For example, one of the common errors is substituting /t/ for /k/, as in "tat" for "cat". By the age of 8, all children should be able to produce all sounds in the English language.
